Church News
Missionary Paul Gill to Speak. Brother Paul Gill and his lovely wife LaDonna will visit with us on Feb 12th. He will be preaching at both services. Brother Paul is a gifted speaker. You will be blessed as he preaches and also tells us about the Lord's work in the Far East. His wife is blessed with a beautiful voice and ability to play the piano. He is one of the Missionaries which New Hope supports in prayer and financially.		Valentine Fellowship. Our annual Valentine's Day fellowship will be held on Feb 11th at 5 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Details such as cost and menu will be in next week's bulletin. Some fun changes are planned for that night. Cost is $12/person for Fajitas with all the trimmings. Advise Judy by Feb. 8th Wed. if you plan to attend (so we can give number to caterer). Ladies bring desserts. Please notify Bro. Bobby or Judy if you have a problem with cost. Everyone including singles are urged to attend. All are invited; everybody is wanted.

Chili cook-off and silent auctin. To benefit our Christian School will be held on Feb. 24th from 6:30 to 8 pm. As in previous years, we need items of any kind to be auctioned that night. You may donate them to the school by seeing Patsy. More details will be in next week's bulletin. Please enter contests for chili (hot, mild, exotic), cornbread, and cake, pie, and other desserts. Judging will take place and trophies awarded.		Men's retreat. Our retreat this year will be held again at Camp Holy Wild on March 9-10th. Details such as cost, cabin number, etc. will be finalized and published in a later bulletin. Cost will be $36 per person. Everybody attempt to attend. Rides are available. If you have never attended, do your very best to come with us. Meet Friday after 1 pm. We meet Friday late for a pot-luck meal and study/prayer session. We have a pot-luck meal and study/prayer session that evening. Saturday morning breakfast is furnished by the Camp personnel. We have final study and prayer sessions and are gone usually about one o'clock. There also are some domino games and fellowship times also.

Recurring Events
We have placed a "cross wall" in the Family Life Center. We are asking each family to bring one cross to hang on the wall. It can be any size, shape, color, decor that you like. Please give the crosses to Patsy.		Do you read your old Sunday School books? If not please give them to Brother John Thornhill. He sends them to different ministries so the books can be reused again.

The owner will donate 10% of the purchase proceeds to our school. This has always been a good time of fun and fellowship. Please support it.

WOM. Women on Mission. Lisa Willmore has started a group called "Women on Mission". Next meeting to be advised. For further information contact Lisa @ 281-259-8698 or jgwillmore at hotmail dot com. All ladies urged to take part in this mission group and pray for them.		Men's prayer breakfast at church. We will go to breakfast after the time of prayer. Leader's: Contact your brothers on the team to be present. Invite all men to attend. There was a good turnout last month.
